Since the beginning of human history, speculation about the end of the world has fascinated mankind. There are myths and stories about the end of the world in almost every religion and culture has ever known. And yet, somehow, people seem dissatisfied with the answers they receive. They
turn to Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, or ancient Hindu hope of finding a
grain of truth that will satisfy their innate desire to know something
about the future and destiny of the world.
Never the fascination of mankind to be more common than it is today. Fears of global warming saturate the media. The concern about a nuclear holocaust persists in its sixth decade. E
stories of asteroids, comets, aliens or super-killing disease issues
planetary life bioengineering continue to dominate many Hollywood films.
Worldwide, people are affected by the same questions are repeated. Is the human race to disappear? It will be a nuclear war or global warming will destroy the biosphere? Is the world as we know it continue to exist?
The
answer to these questions and many others about the end of the world is
not found in the writings of Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, or any other
self-proclaimed psychic. But you can find in the Bible, which has a reputation for 100% accuracy when it comes to future events.
What the Bible Says
According to the Bible, the earth is eternal. So, despite what some say, do not worry about the earth itself is destroyed. However, over the centuries, the nature of the land has changed and will change in the near future.
The book of Genesis tells us that God created the earth and everything is perfect. However, the nature of the earth changed when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. This act provoked God to place a curse on the earth, and has radically changed the nature of the earth itself. Several centuries later, the human race has become so corrupt that God decided to destroy them with a flood. But God saved Noah and his family, allowing them to repopulate the earth today.
Throughout these changes, the earth as creation remained intact. However, nature has radically changed twice. The Bible teaches that soon will change the third time, and this time the result is very different from previous centuries.
The New World
The verses in the Bible about the creation of a new earth. This should not be seen as a new physical creation of God. Instead,
it should be regarded as a highly transformative process by which the
world is reshaped by the hand of God to create a different world. The prophet Isaiah describes this process two thousand years ago:
"Behold,
I create new heavens and a new earth - so wonderful that no one thinks
of the old and be glad, I am always happy in my creation And look, I
create Jerusalem as a place!. happiness
of her. persons will a source of joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and
joy in my people. And the sound of weeping and wailing was heard no
more. "Isaiah 65:17-19 ( KJV)
The nature of this world will change dramatically. It
was transformed from a place of sadness and mourning in a place of
great happiness, where "the sound of weeping and wailing was heard no
more." The creation of this new land is also mentioned by Peter, encourages us to live our lives according to the will of God He encourages us to do, knowing that our time will come soon.:
"God
has commanded that the heavens and the earth will be consumed by the
fire in the day of judgment, when the wicked will perish." 2 Peter 3:7 (KJV)
"But
the day of the Lord will come like a thief unexpectedly. Then the
heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and everything in it will
disappear in fire, and the earth and all that is exposed to judgment. " 2 Peter 3:10 (KJV)
"Like
everything around us will disappear, saints, holy lives you should
live, you should expect in this day and hurry -. The day when God will
set the sky on fire and the elements will melt in the flames but we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world where everyone is right with God. " 2 Peter 3:11-13 (KJV)
From these passages, it is clear that God will one day use fire to create a new country in the world today. It will be totally different from that in which we live. But then what? What will the new earth look like? The Bible gives us a vivid illustration.
What will be the future of the Earth look like?
The book of Isaiah contains a wealth of information on the nature, quality and characteristics of the new earth. One of the earliest references can be found in Chapter 11:
"In
that day the wolf and the lamb will live together, the leopard and the
goat will be at peace Calves and yearlings will be safe among lions, and
a little child shall lead all cattle graze among Cubs bear .. . and calves will lie down together. And lions will eat grass as the animals do. babies crawl safely among poisonous snakes. Yeah, a child puts his hand in a nest of deadly snakes and pull it out unharmed. Nada you hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain. And as the waters fill the sea, so that the earth will be filled with people who know the Lord. " Isaiah 11:6-9 (KJV)
God finally lift the curse you put on the earth after the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. This curse created a conflict between the animal and the man with a lot of humans and many animals kill kill human animals. But
in the new earth, "nothing is going to injure or destroy." And the
number of people who know the Lord is as endless as the sea water
Isaiah continues his description in Chapter 65:
"No
longer will babies die when only a few days old. Unlike adults die
before they have lived a full life. Already people can not be considered
old at one hundred Only sinners will die so young in those Today people
live in houses they build and eat the fruit of their own vineyards
of.'s not going to be like in the past, when the invaders took the
houses and confiscated the vineyards. For my people will live as long
as the trees and the time commitment to enjoy your hard-won gains. They
do not labor in vain, and their children will not be doomed to
misfortune. because they are the blessed of the LORD, and their children
will also blessed.'ll

will go ahead and answer their prayers! The wolf and the lamb shall feed
together. the lion shall eat straw like beef.
venomous snakes attacking you. At that time, nobody gets hurt or
destroyed on my holy mountain. I, the LORD, have spoken! "Isaiah
65:20-25 (KJV)
Babies are not dead, and the life of the human race extend beyond current expectations. Life expectancy is going to be so great that the death of a hundred senior years will be a remarkable tragedy. People can enjoy the fruits of their labor without fear that someone will come and steal what they have. The inhabitants of the new earth will be so close to God that He will answer your prayers until you asked! Animals that are natural enemies of our age become friends in the new land, and all land animals are herbivores.
On the new earth, Jerusalem is the center of the world. This
will be the abode of the Lord and the people of all nations will go to
Jerusalem to worship and that their disputes resolved. War no longer exist. For this reason, there will be no more armies and weapons. The Lord resolve all conflicts, and people will devote energy once devoted to war to prosperous life and worship the Lord. Peace and prosperity will be abundant, and there is nothing to fear.
Knowing what we now know about the new earth, he would not want to live there? Unfortunately, the Bible also tells us that many will decline your invitation to this new blessed world. The only way to do that is to put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the undisputed master of the new earth.
When this future world?
Because the new earth is the creation of Jesus, will not come until his glorious return. Meanwhile, many politicians, idealists, and others will discuss their own ideas about how to create such a world. However, putting faith in any of these people or their plans will only lead to disappointment.
In the Bible, it is clear that the new earth will come only when God comes to live physically among his people:
"I
heard a voice from heaven, saying," Look, the home of God is among his
people dwell with them, and they shall be his people, God himself will
be with them He will remove all of their.. penalties,
and there will be more death or mourning or crying or pain. For the old
world and its evils are gone forever. "Apocalypse 21:3-4 (KJV)
When God dwells among men, the land and the port has no death or sorrow or crying or pain. It will be a new world. The old world will come to an end - its evils are gone forever.
Conclusion
Those who care about the end of the world or live in fear of a global catastrophe not live their lives according to God. Because God tells us to live courageously and without fear of things of this world:
"Why not give us a spirit of timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:07 (KJV)
Do not worry about global warming or a nuclear holocaust. Do not live in fear of a pandemic or comets or asteroids or aliens or massive volcanoes worldwide. The Lord is in control of everything, and it has already revealed what will happen to the present day. It will mark the beginning of the end of the world and transform the earth into your own home. Therefore, if we want to be afraid of anything, must be the same Lord. The prophet Isaiah Agreement:
"Do not fear anything except the Lord Almighty. He alone is holy. If you are afraid, you have nothing to fear from each other." Isaiah 8:13 (KJV)Jesus reminds his disciples this command while teaching them not to fear persecution:
"Do not be afraid of those who want to kill They can not kill the body. They can not touch your soul fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. ". Matthew 10:28 (KJV)
In short, do not fear the end of the world. Celebrate. Christ comes. And when it comes, will eliminate all the evils of this world, such as fear and anxiety.
