Innovations of The Civil War


While the American Civil War was the bloodiest America has never fought in the war, many people do not realize some of the innovations that have resulted. There are some really great inventions and achievements that have been made.

Much of the way we fight wars today may notice a return to civil war. One of the biggest changes overall, was the use of technology on the battlefield. This is the same as it is today, technology plays a huge role in our military operations empire. Some of the most important changes in the civil war.




One of the greatest inventions to come out of the Civil War was the machine gun. Although it came later in the war, the Gatlin gun can be said to have changed the way we fight wars. After World War 1 guns were much more lethal and effective and have been used in mass quantities.
